Food Security First

Through the fall of 2026, eight community members are using theatre, stories, and facilitation techniques to develop a workshop presentation based on food insecurity.

The focus of the presentation will be to engage local audiences in a facilitated analysis of the issue and in developing solutions.

The ninety-minute community presentations will be offered in five locales in Guysborough County, to take place in late November and early December.

The project was conceived by MRT’s Operations Manager Stephen Cross, who is also the facilitator.
